Founder & President

The Franco Group (TFG) is a real estate development, investment and advisory firm founded in 1998 and based in Old Greenwich, CT. Chris Franco and TFG have broad experience in residential and commercial real estate activities, with a focus on the local markets in Greenwich and Stamford CT. Recent projects of TFG include a 4-lot waterfront development in Stamford, a 4-unit residential condominium project in Central Greenwich, a 6-unit residential condominium project in Central Greenwich, a 6-lot development of homes on the Innis Arden Golf Course (Old Greenwich), a 6-unit residential condominium project in Old Greenwich, several single family homes in Greenwich and the restoration of a 100-unit waterfront condominium community in Vero Beach, FL.

Chris grew up in Greenwich CT and attended Greenwich public schools. He is a graduate of the Georgetown University McDonough School of Business (1981) and the SMU School of Law (1985), and served on the Board of Georgetown’s McDonough School for more than a decade.

Chris also co-founded and is the President of the Greenwich Point Conservancy (2004 – present), which is a non-profit stewardship organization that has spearheaded the restoration and preservation of historic structures at Greenwich Point. Under Chris’ leadership the GPC also undertook the award-winning restoration of the Feake-Ferris House, the oldest house in Greenwich CT and one of the oldest houses in America. Several of the GPC’s projects, including the Innis Arden Cottage, the Old Barn and the Feake-Ferris House, have won awards for excellence in historic preservation, and Chris has been honored for his work in historic preservation by the American Institute of Architects, the Connecticut State Historic Preservation Office, the Greenwich Historical Society and several other organizations.
